#16 Be grateful

It is easy to expect success as if being successful was a right instead of a privilege and a gift. The problem with expecting to succeed is that, without more, the self-absorption of that expectation can slowly and subtly poison everything around you, including your business. True success is earned and when it arrives it should be, and needs to be, accompanied by a strong sense of gratitude. This gratitude is not simply about being grateful for what you’ve achieved. It is about being grounded enough in the moment of success to remember and recognize everyone who helped you get to this particular time and place. Without this grounded gratefulness any success is lessened and will, in all likelihood, be fleeting.

So how do you repay those how helped you in achieving your goals? Well, obviously, acknowledging those individuals and sharing the benefits of your success with them is a great place to start. Yet, above and beyond taking care of your nearest and dearest, you also need to “pay it forward” by becoming a mentor and helper to others who are currently on their own journey towards success. Think about how you can collaborate with someone else in order to further their efforts. See if you can contribute in some way to their projects. This contribution doesn’t have to be monetary. Advice and the wisdom of experience are often far more valuable than cold cash.

This gratitude can extend even further. There are people who are currently helping you every day that you may not see as mentors. Your customers are among these people. Without them, success becomes impossible. Take the time to let them know how important they are. Your vendors are also equally important. Yes, they provide you with materials that you pay them for, but a true grounded and grateful attitude would also recognize each of them for the critical element they play in your business. Look outside the box and you’ll see that success is not a solo effort, it’s a team sport.

The virtue of patience

The virtue of patience

The Virtue of Patience and Prayer

Allah says;

ŲŠŲŽØ§ ØŖŲŽŲŠŲ‘ŲŲ‡ŲŽØ§ اŲ„Ų‘ŲŽØ°ŲŲŠŲ†ŲŽ اŲ…ŲŽŲ†ŲŲˆØ§Ų’ اØŗŲ’ØĒŲŽØšŲŲŠŲ†ŲŲˆØ§Ų’ بŲØ§Ų„ØĩŲ‘ŲŽØ¨Ų’ØąŲ ŲˆŲŽØ§Ų„ØĩŲ‘ŲŽŲ„ŲŽØŠŲ ØĨŲŲ†Ų‘ŲŽ اŲ„Ų„Ų‘Ų‡ŲŽ Ų…ŲŽØšŲŽ اŲ„ØĩŲ‘ŲŽØ§Ø¨ŲØąŲŲŠŲ†ŲŽ

O you who believe! Seek help in patience and As-Salah(the prayer). Truly, Allah is with As-Sabirin (the patient).

After Allah commanded that He be appreciated, He ordained patience and prayer. It is a fact that the servant is either enjoying a bounty that he should be thankful for, or suffering a calamity that he should meet with patience.

A Hadith states:

ØšŲŽØŦŲŽØ¨Ų‹Ø§ Ų„ŲŲ„Ų’Ų…ŲŲˆŲ’Ų…ŲŲ†Ų Ų„ŲŽØ§ ŲŠŲŽŲ‚Ų’Øļؐ؊ اŲ„Ų„Ų‡Ų Ų„ŲŽŲ‡Ų Ų‚ŲŽØļŲŽØ§ØĄŲ‹ ØĨŲ„اŲ‘ŲŽ ŲƒŲŽØ§Ų†ŲŽ ØŽŲŽŲŠŲ’ØąŲ‹Ø§ Ų„ŲŽŲ‡Ų

Amazing is the believer, for whatever Allah decrees for him, it is better for him!

If he is tested with a bounty, he is grateful for it and this is better for him;

and if he is afflicted with a hardship, he is patient with it and this is better for him.

Allah has stated that the best tools to help ease the effects of the afflictions are patience and prayer. Earlier we mentioned Allah’s statement:

ŲˆŲŽØ§ØŗŲ’ØĒŲŽØšŲŲŠŲ†ŲŲˆØ§Ų’ بŲØ§Ų„ØĩŲ‘ŲŽØ¨Ų’ØąŲ ŲˆŲŽØ§Ų„ØĩŲ‘ŲŽŲ„ŲŽŲˆØŠŲ ŲˆŲŽØĨŲŲ†Ų‘ŲŽŲ‡ŲŽØ§ Ų„ŲŽŲƒŲŽØ¨ŲŲŠØąŲŽØŠŲŒ ØĨŲŲ„اŲ‘ŲŽ ØšŲŽŲ„ŲŽŲ‰ اŲ„Ų’ØŽŲŽŲ€Ø´ŲØšŲŲŠŲ†ŲŽ

And seek help in patience and As-Salah (the prayer) and truly, it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khashi`in (i.e., the true believers in Allah). (2:45)

There are several types of Sabr Ų€ patience:

one for avoiding the prohibitions and sins,

one for acts of worship and obedience.

The second type carries more rewards than the first type.

There is a third type of patience required in the face of the afflictions and hardships, which is mandatory, like repentance.

Abdur-Rahman bin Zayd bin Aslam said,

“Sabr has two parts:

patience for the sake of Allah concerning what He is pleased with (i.e., acts of worship and obedience), even if it is hard on the heart and the body,

and patience when avoiding what He dislikes, even if it is desired.

Those who acquire these qualities will be among the patient persons whom Allah shall greet (when they meet Him in the Hereafter; refer to Surah Al-Ahzab (33:44), Allah willing.”

Well-planned

Whether your statement is too long or too long, you need to decide in advance which topic to bring after which point.

It is better not to go on stage than to give a speech with a full written statement in front of you.

When you speak, your eyes will be on the audience. There will be small paper or notes.

Only the points will be sorted. In this way the format and fluency of the content presentation will remain intact.

Content if you are an apprentice speaker

If you are an apprentice speaker, the first condition for a fluent speech is that the content of the speech should be very simple.

The main goal of any speech is to inform the audience. It is enough to have at least two or one new information.

Heavy speech not only loses the attention of the audience, the speaker loses fluency in it. The speaker must know two aspects.

First you need to check if you can present the whole topic with one or two sentences, which means the comment topic needs to be very informative and objective.

You should not try to give a speech if you do not have a clear idea of what you are going to say.

This will make you a laughing stock to the audience. So at the beginning of the lecture, try to make the content simple, it should be simple, it should not be heavy with a lot of information, it should be explained in a few words and the speaker should have this confidence before listening to the audience, he is fully aware of what he is going to say.

the centenary of Bangabandhu’s

On the occasion of the golden jubilee of Bangladesh’s independence and the centenary of Bangabandhu’s birth, Hifazat leaders were instructed to occupy Chittagong’s Hathazari police station on March 26, the first day of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Dhaka.
Among those involved were 300 to 400 Rohingya. Who have been secretly living permanently in Hathazari Madrasa for a long time. This shocking information has come up in the remand of Hefazat leaders.
During the interrogation of the arrested persons, it was learned that two days before the incident, the leaders instructed the madrasa students to attack and occupy the Hathazari police station in any way. But no banner of custody can be used. However, due to the readiness of the police, their objective was not successful. He said the interrogation and investigation of the leaders revealed that 300 to 400 Rohingyas who had entered Bangladesh have been living in the Hathazari Madrasa for a long time. Some of them work in the mess or dining of the madrasa, some of them guard the madrasa and some of them study in the madrasa. Since they have no place to go, they stay here permanently and eat and drink for free. They are used by the top leaders of Hefazat at the forefront of destructive work. They are forced to go to work.
